Backstory:

In the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, Disguised Summary was formed during a late-night jam session in the basement of a deteriorating old house in 2015. Each member was a seasoned musician – lead vocalist and guitarist, James ‘J.D.’ Dean, bassist, Alex ‘Rex’ Johnson, drummer, Scott ‘Sketch’ Mitchell and keyboardist, Lucy ‘Lux’ Bennett. They all came from different musical backgrounds and were pursuing solo careers, but the deep connection they felt during that night was undeniable. They decided to combine their talents and formed Disguised Summary, a name that encapsulates the essence of their music: enigmatic, profound and multilayered.
