Backstory:
Immediate Treatment was formed in the late 90s in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. The band’s founders, Jason “Jaw” Williams and Sarah “Serenade” Serrano, were both working as paramedics, often finding solace in music during their off-hours. The two bonded over their love for music and their shared experiences in the field of emergency medical services, and this camaraderie led them to start a band. They were later joined by drummer Mark “MASH” Harkness and bassist Emily “EMT” Thompson. Their music draws from their healthcare background, with lyrics often touch on themes of healing, resilience, and camaraderie in the face of adversity.
