Backstory:
Elastic Chalk emerged from the whimsical and bohemian corners of Los Angeles in 2010. The members, Finn O’Brian (vocals and guitar), Clara Rossi (bass), Pete Jenkins (drums), and Jacob Ramirez (keyboard), were all college friends who bonded over their shared love for quirky, non-traditional, and experimental music. Each member brought their unique influence to the mix, crafting an enchantingly peculiar sound that quickly captured the hearts of local music enthusiasts.
After a series of local gigs, Elastic Chalk caught the attention of indie record label, Skyrise Records, who offered them a record deal. The band’s debut album, ‘Neon Graffiti’, was a critical success, further establishing Elastic Chalk as a unique and refreshing voice in the music industry. Their eclectic sound, profound lyrics, and vibrant stage presence have helped them amass a dedicated fanbase that extends worldwide.
