Backstory:

Every Department was born out of a college dorm room in Austin, Texas, back in 2013. Five friends from different academic departments decided to break the monotony of their college life by jamming in their free time. Initially, they played covers from their favorite bands, but soon started creating their own music that reflected their collective taste and individual influences. Over time, their impromptu jamming sessions in the dorm room transformed into performances at local bars, college festivals, and eventually, city-wide music events.

In 2015, after garnering enough local popularity and winning a couple of university music contests, Every Department decided to take the leap of faith and pursue music full-time. They moved to Los Angeles and began working on their debut album. The band has evolved a lot since their dorm room days, but their core has remained the same – a group of friends who love creating music together.
