Backstory:
Evil Shift was formed in the dimly lit corridors of an abandoned factory in Manchester, England around the mid-2000s. The four founding members, Samuel ‘Viper’ Vincent, Ethan ‘Razor’ Riley, Charlie ‘Crusher’ Crosby and Oliver ‘Obliterator’ Ortega were all disillusioned with the state of modern rock, craving a return to the rebellious, raw and untamed energy of the genre’s roots. Thus, they commenced their journey in the world of music.
Their initial performances took place under the flickering streetlights of Manchester’s back alleys and dive bars. Their music, a testament to the raw and visceral forces within them, resonated with the underground music scene. Evil Shift quickly gained a following of like-minded rebels, creating an underground wave of new-age rock still grounded in the genre’s classic roots.
