Formed during the sweltering summer of 2010 in the bustling city of San Francisco, ‘Familiar Brother’ is a testament to a love of music that transcends the boundaries of time and genre. The band comprises three members, siblings Jake and Owen, and their lifelong friend, Matt. The band’s name was inspired by the brothers’ shared experiences and the familiarity they found in their bond, while also recognizing the brotherhood they shared with Matt.
