Backstory:
Fantastic Bear was born out of a chance meeting between three childhood friends at a local bar in Austin, Texas. With a shared passion for music and a dream to create something unique, the trio of Teddy Harper, Mason ‘Mace’ Stone, and Isaac ‘Izzy’ Thompson decided to form a band in 2015. Teddy took the helm as lead vocalist and guitarist, Mace provided the bassline, and Izzy’s talent shined on the drums. Their shared love for the wilderness and a particular affinity for bears led to the quirky name, Fantastic Bear.
Their journey was not without its trials. The band initially struggled to find its unique sound, experimenting with various genres and styles. After a year of soul-searching and endless jam sessions, they finally found their groove. They rose to fame through a series of successful gigs around Texas, eventually earning a recording contract and releasing their debut album, ‘Bear Tracks.’
