Backstory:
Far-Off Flight was formed in 2011 in the culturally rich city of New Orleans, Louisiana. The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist, Ethan ‘EJ’ Jenkins, drummer, Riley ‘RJ’ Jacobs, bassist, Sam ‘SJ’ Johnson and pianist, Thomas ‘TJ’ Jefferson. They were all high school friends with a shared passion for music. Their formative years were spent in EJ’s garage, honing their skills and developing a unique sound that would later resonate with millions worldwide.
The band witnessed a breakthrough when a local radio station picked up one of their demo tracks ‘Fly’. The track was a hit in the local community, which led to their signing with a well-known record label. Their journey was far from smooth, with personal issues and creative differences threatening their unity at one point. But, their shared love for music, and the bond they shared, helped them overcome these hurdles.
