Backstory:
Shrill Database is a band that emerged from the depths of the Silicon Valley tech world. Composed of four software engineers – Max, Alex, Leo and June, who found themselves spending as much time discussing music as they did debugging code. One fateful weekend, during a hackathon, they decided to transform their shared cubicle into a makeshift recording studio and Shrill Database was born. The band represents a perfect blend of their love for technology and music, creating an ambiance which is as unique as their band’s name.

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1 – Am, F, C, G)
Am
In the realm of ones and zeros, we stand alone,
F
With the rhythm of the keystrokes, in our bone.
C
In this symphony of syntax, we find our home,
G
Coding errors into melody, under the silicon dome.
(Chorus – F, G, C)
F
We are the coders of the harmony,
G
Lost in the maze of binary,
C
In the echoes of the system, we find our symphony,
F G C
We are the Shrill Database, in the heart of the machinery.
(Verse 2 – Am, F, C, G)
Am
As the daylight fades, and the screen light gleams,
F
We write the rhythms, of the neon dreams.
C
In the static noise, we find our means,
G
Creating music, from the silent screams.
(Chorus – F, G, C)
F
We are the coders of the harmony,
G
Lost in the maze of binary,
C
In the echoes of the system, we find our symphony,
F G C
We are the Shrill Database, in the heart of the machinery.
The band’s favorite fan:
Shrill Database’s favorite fan is a dedicated follower named Jamie, who works as a computer programmer. She resonates with the band’s music because it combines her two biggest passions – music and coding. Here’s a testimonial from Jamie:
“Shrill Database isn’t just a band for me, it’s an entire vibe. As a programmer, I find myself lost in their lyrics, which are as cleverly coded as any software I’ve worked on. Their music captures the essence of my life, the beauty hidden within the complexity of my work. They’ve turned the language of computers into a language of emotion, and for that, they’ll always be my favorite.”
