Backstory:
Fast Box originally began as a trio in the bustling city of Chicago during the winter of 2009. The initial members included lead vocalist and guitarist, Jack Nichols, bassist, Mark Peterson, and drummer, Harry Thompson. The three musicians, all with their own unique styles, found common ground in their shared love for rock ‘n’ roll and decided to build a band that could reflect their collective passion. Their chemistry was palpable, and they quickly gained popularity in the local music scene before hitting the big stage.
The band took their name from an old comic book series that Jack found in his grandfather’s attic. The comic told the story of an old musician who traveled through time and space in a ‘Fast Box’ – a homage to their love for music and the desire to traverse new musical landscapes. The band’s journey has been nothing short of a whirlwind, taking them from local clubs to sold-out arenas, and their music continues to inspire rock ‘n’ roll lovers across the globe.
