Fussy Industry

Backstory:
Fussy Industry is an eclectic mix of four souls hailing from the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington. The band was formed in 2010 when lead singer and songwriter, Jack Faraday, met bassist Lara Geller at an open mic night in a local dive bar. They bonded over their shared frustration with the music industry’s obsession with perfection and lack of authenticity, thus giving birth to Fussy Industry. A year later, they were joined by drummer Sam Peterson and pianist Dave Harper, each bringing a unique style and talent that forged the band’s distinctive sound.

“Strings of Stardust”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verses)
Cmaj7
Underneath the city lights, we made our dreams in neon nights,
Am7
Washed in rain, soaked in love, we were chasing the high.
Dm7
We were young, we were free, like a melody in the key,
G7
Of life, of love, we were dancing under the sky.

Cmaj7
Strumming chords on the rooftop, a symphony under a moonlit backdrop,
Am7
Running wild, running free, in the maze of the night.
Dm7
With your eyes full of fire, and my heart fueled by desire,
G7
Together, we lit up the city’s night.

(Chorus)
Em
Strings of stardust in our hands, we were the kings of no man’s land,
Am7
In the echo of the night, playing rhythms of our lives.
Dm7
Living on borrowed time, in a world that was solely mine,
G7
With the music as our guide, we painted the night.

Testimonial:
“I’ve been a fan of Fussy Industry since their first gig at The Crocodile in Seattle. Their authenticity and raw talent are refreshing in an industry often filled with overproduced sounds and generic lyrics. Jack’s passionate voice, combined with Lara’s thumping bass, Sam’s energetic drums, and Dave’s haunting keys, create a musical experience that’s hard to forget. They’re not just a band; they’re storytellers, and their music resonates with real life. Fussy Industry is my favorite because their music feels like a conversation, a connection, rather than just a performance.”
