Fluid Lady

Backstory:

Fluid Lady was formed in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California in the early 1990s. The band’s original members, lead singer Stella Greene and guitarist Ricky Waverly, met at an underground open mic night, instantly connecting over their shared love for vintage vinyl records and a dream to bring back the psychedelic music of the 60s and 70s. They were later joined by bassist Tommy Rocket and drummer Vivian ‘Viv’ Stone, and the quartet soon found themselves making music in Greene’s basement studio, creating a sound that was distinct, refreshing, and undeniably their own.

The band’s journey was anything but smooth, with many nights spent playing at half-empty bars and dealing with the harsh realities of the music industry. However, with a relentless spirit and a shared passion for their craft, Fluid Lady persevered. Their break came when their demo was played on a local college radio station, catching the attention of an independent record label. They signed their first deal, and before they knew it, they were touring nationwide and becoming one of the most influential bands of their era.
