Free Fan

Backstory:

Free Fan was born in the thriving indie music scene of Austin, Texas in early 2014. Childhood friends and music enthusiasts, Jeremy “Jez” Davis and Noah “Red” Reynolds began writing songs in their parents’ garages, their sounds echoing through the serene suburban streets. Their love for music led them to recruit bassist, Lilah “Lil” Jackson, and drummer, Sam “Shuffle” Rogers. As they started playing local venues, their unique sound caught the attention of their growing fanbase.

The band’s name, Free Fan, has a deeper meaning than what meets the eye. It reflects their belief that music should be approachable and appreciated by everyone, free of barriers such as economic status or social class. They often perform at charity events, and their concerts are known for being friendly and inclusive, embodying the spirit of their name.

Song Title:
“Unchained Rhythm”

Full Song Lyrics:

[verse 1]
C Am Em G
Meet me at the crossroad, under the city lights,
Dancing in the moon glow, feeling the stars’ might,
Walking on the music notes, floating in the night.

[chorus]
Dm C Em G
We’re an Unchained Rhythm, can’t stop this Free Fan flight,
In the mirror of the night sky, we’ll keep our dreams in sight,
Love in every melody, music in every fight.

[verse 2]
C Am Em G
We’re the poets of the twilight, singing our heart’s song,
In the hush of the midnight, where we all belong,
In the rhythm of the heartbeat, we’re strong.

[chorus]
Dm C Em G
We’re an Unchained Rhythm, can’t stop this Free Fan flight,
In the mirror of the night sky, we’ll keep our dreams in sight,
Love in every melody, music in every fight.

[Bridge]
C Em G Dm
Our echo in the canyons, our whisper in the sea,
We are the dream chasers, forever we’ll be free.

[chorus]
Dm C Em G
We’re an Unchained Rhythm, can’t stop this Free Fan flight,
In the mirror of the night sky, we’ll keep our dreams in sight,
Love in every melody, music in every fight.

Favorite Fan:

The band’s favorite fan is a young woman named Lucy. Lucy, who is hearing impaired, attends every concert, standing close to the stage and feeling the resonating vibrations of the band’s music. Lucy says, “Free Fan’s music touches my soul. I might not hear the music the way others do, but I feel its energy, its rhythm, and its passion. I feel included and valued at their concerts. They’ve made music accessible to me in a way no other band has, and I’ll forever be grateful.” This aligns perfectly with the band’s philosophy of making music free for every fan.
