Backstory:

Honorable Industry was born in the heart of New York City, formed by four childhood friends from Staten Island, each possessing a unique musical talent. The quartet comprised of lead vocalist, Jimmy “Raven” Rodriguez, bassist, Peter “Pete” Thompson, drummer, Marcus “Mark” Reynolds, and guitarist, Nicholas “Nick” Russo. They all shared a common love for music and were inspired by the city’s rich musical heritage, from its bustling jazz clubs to its vibrant rock scene.

The friends decided to form a band during their days at the New York University, where they were roommates. The name ‘Honorable Industry’ was inspired by their shared belief in the power of hard work and determination – an ethos deeply ingrained in them by their working-class families. Over the years, the band’s unique sound, coupled with their DIY approach to music production, has gained them a fervent fan base across the globe.

The Band’s Favorite Fan:

Our favorite fan has to be Sophie Bennett. Sophie has been with us since day one. She was the first to purchase our debut album and has attended almost every single one of our concerts since then. She’s not just a fan, she’s a part of us. Her favorite song is “City Lights, Silent Nights” and she once told us, “Honorable Industry saved me in more ways than one. Their music gave me comfort in my darkest days and joy in my brightest. They’re more than just a band to me; they’re family.”
