Squeaky Member

Backstory:
‘Squeaky Member’ swept onto the punk rock scene in 2012 after a chance meeting of its core members, Jason ‘Rex’ Reynolds (drums), and Mike ‘Squeak’ Ferguson (vocals/guitar) at a small dive bar in Seattle. Squeak was performing an acoustic set, his voice raspy and raw, perfectly complementing the hard edge of his strumming. Rex, a hardcore punk enthusiast, was immediately intrigued and proposed they form a band.

They added two more members, Silvia ‘Spike’ Gonzales (bass) and Danny ‘Doc’ Miller (lead guitar), and ‘Squeaky Member’ was born. Their sound was a gritty, raw mix of punk rock and grunge, with a dash of indie charm. They quickly developed a loyal following, their fans appreciating their raw energy and unfiltered lyrics that reflect the many shades of life.

Favorite Fan:
Tina, a young punk enthusiast from Portland, was an early adopter of ‘Squeaky Member’. She says, “I saw them play in a small club when they were just starting. The raw energy and honesty in their music just grabbed me. It wasn’t just the sound; it was the passion and honesty. Their music speaks to the rebel in me, the one that wants to break free and challenge the status quo. That’s why ‘Squeaky Member’ is my favorite band. They’re real, they’re raw, and they’re not afraid to show it.”
