Backstory:

Impure Ms was born from the depths of suburban ennui and wanderlust. Founders Danielle “Danny” Carmichael and Eliot “El” Jenkins were childhood friends from Hartford, Connecticut whose friendship blossomed over shared mixtapes and garage jam sessions. Frustrated with their mundane existence, they turned to music as an outlet for their pent-up energy and rebellious spirit. Their music started off as a private escapade until a chance encounter with a local DJ propelled them into the local music scene. The DJ, impressed by their raw talent and unique sound, offered the duo a chance to record their first track. This led to the formation of the band Impure Ms, a name chosen to symbolize their defiance of societal norms.
