Backstory:
Lawful Box was formed in the vibrant city of Nashville in 2017 when four law students decided they needed an outlet for their stress. The band’s members, comprising of lead vocalist Tom ‘Barrister’ Bradley, guitarist Joe ‘Justice’ Jenkins, bassist Ricky ‘Rights’ Rutherford, and drummer Alex ‘Amendment’ Adams, were all students at the Vanderbilt University Law School. They found solace in music amidst the grueling study hours and constant pressure. Lawful Box thus became a healthy escape and a thrilling adventure for them.
The band began by playing in local bars and the university’s on-campus events. Their music was praised for its unique blend of law-inspired lyrics and catchy tunes. As Lawful Box’s popularity surged among the student community, they decided to take a leap of faith and record their first album, ‘Courtroom Chronicles.’ Their music has continued to evolve, and today, Lawful Box is one of the most sought-after bands in the Nashville music scene.
