Backstory:
The “Jubilant Plant” was born out of the suburban neighborhoods of Detroit, Michigan in the summer of 2008. The band was formed by a group of friends who had a shared passion for music and sustainability. They spent their weekends playing music in their garage and planting trees in their community. Thus, the name “Jubilant Plant” was coined, symbolizing both their love for music and their commitment to the environment. The band comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Ed Morris, bassist Lara Jacobs, and drummer James Parker. The three friends, despite their different musical backgrounds, found a common ground in their shared love for creating melodies that resonated with their stance on environmental preservation.
