Klutzy Bed

Backstory:

Klutzy Bed was born in the vibrant heart of San Francisco, California, in the year 2009. The band members, college roommates at the time, were drawn together by their mutual love for music and an insatiable desire to tell stories through their songs. Initially, they were just entertaining their friends at campus parties, but quickly gained a remarkable following for their unique sound and captivating performances. Their name, Klutzy Bed, was a humorous nod to the shared, disastrous piece of furniture in their cramped dorm room where most of their songwriting sessions happened.

The band comprises Maxwell “Max” Hartman on vocals, Shane “Riff” Rodriguez on lead guitar, Bradley “Brads” Thompson on drums, and Timothy “Timbo” Moore on bass. Together, they create a harmonious blend of diverse musical backgrounds, from Max’s choir upbringing to Riff’s heavy metal influences, Brads’ love for jazz, and Timbo’s classical training.

Title:

“Drizzle in My Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[Em] Woke up today, to a [C] drizzle in my dreams
[G] Caught in the fray of [D] reality’s seams
[Em] I see your face in the [C] distant scene
[G] A ghost of love that [D] once had been

(Chorus)
[Am] Rain on me, till I [C] can’t see
[G] The ghost of you that [D] haunts me
[Am] Let the drizzle in my [C] dreams
[G] Wash away what [D] never could be

(Verse 2)
[Em] The shadow of your smile, [C] lingers in the dusk
[G] Blinded by the denial, [D] in your trust we bask
[Em] Heart beats in exile, [C] in sorrow’s husk
[G] Still, I walk this [D] painful mile

(Chorus)
[Am] Rain on me, let the [C] tears free
[G] Drizzle in my dreams [D] is all I see
[Am] Let the deluge of this [C] heartbreak
[G] Drown the love we [D] never could make

(Bridge)
[G] Let the drizzle turn into a [Em] storm
[Am] As I dance, in your [C] memory, I transform
[G] Into the silhouette, in the [Em] break of dawn
[Am] Drizzle in my dreams, [C] till the pain is gone.

(Final Chorus)
[Am] Rain on me, set me [C] free
[G] From the ghost that [D] won’t let me be
[Am] Let the drizzle in my [C] dreams
[G] Wash away, the [D] love unseen.
