Lawful Lane

Backstory:

Lawful Lane, a powerhouse of indie rock, was formed in a suburban garage in San Francisco in 2011. The members – frontman Jake Reynolds, drummer Ricky Doyle, bassist Mike Holland and lead guitarist Sam Watkins – were all childhood friends who grew up in the same neighborhood, a suburban enclave known as Lawful Lane. These four friends, who shared a love for rock music, decided to start a band, drawing inspiration from their hometown. Their vibe resonated in the neighborhood, making them local heroes before they even hit the big time.

Their debut album “Locks and Keys” was critically acclaimed, and their energetic performances got them spots at popular music festivals. Lawful Lane prides themselves on their honest lyrics that reflect everyday life, always aiming to connect their listeners with the shared human experience. It’s this spirit, coupled with their electrifying melodies, that has built a loyal fanbase not only in their hometown but across the country.

(Verse)
Em G
On the edge of Vertigo Heights,

In the shadows, we confide.

In the city, we are found,

Live, but don’t lose sight,
Am C
On the edge of Vertigo Heights.

Up where the stars are lost in view,

Life spins a different hue,

We count our fears and chase the dawn,

In this city, we are born.

Run, but don’t look down,

Live, but don’t lose sight,

On the edge of Vertigo Heights.
