Mature Talk

Backstory:
“Mature Talk” was formed in the bustling city of Seattle, Washington in the year 2013. The quartet, comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Max Stanley, bassist Olivia Ross, drummer Peter Jones, and keyboardist Cindy McArthur, was initially just a group of college friends who enjoyed jamming in their dorm rooms. However, their shared love for music, combined with their willingness to address complex themes in their songs, soon set them apart. Their unique blend of music and lyrics caught the attention of a local producer during one of their performances at a college event. This led to their signing with a renowned record label, marking the start of “Mature Talk’s” official music journey.

Title:
“Chasing Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am C G D
Under the city lights, we’re lost in time,
Chasing shadows, leaving footprints behind.
We’re young, we’re free, but our hearts are confined,
In this rhythm of life, we’re just trying to find.

(Chorus)
Em D G C
Chasing shadows, in the darkness we roam,
Searching for answers, in a world unknown.
Chasing shadows, in the silence we scream,
Hoping to wake up, from this endless dream.

(Verse 2)
Am C G D
We’re poets and dreamers, with hearts made of gold,
In the chaos of life, we’re brave and bold.
We dance with our fears, our stories untold,
Chasing shadows, till the night unfolds.

(Chorus)
Em D G C
Chasing shadows, in the abyss we stare,
Finding solace, in the secrets we share.
Chasing shadows, in the echoes we speak,
Finding ourselves, when we’re at our peak.
