Backstory:
Born and raised in the picturesque hills of the American Midwest, the roots of Mellow Valley reach deep into the fertile ground of their homeland. The four-piece ensemble, comprised of childhood friends Sam, Danny, Jess, and Joe, started their musical journey in a makeshift studio in Sam’s garage. Their shared love for music helped them to bond during their formative years. As they grew older, they began to pen their thoughts, dreams, and experiences into songs, leading to the creation of Mellow Valley.
In the early days, the band’s performances were limited to local bars, where they would play to a small but appreciative crowd. The intense response they got from the local audience motivated them to take their music beyond their hometown. Impressed by their raw talent and unique sound, a local producer offered to record their music. Their first album was a sleeper success, and Mellow Valley has been on an upward trajectory ever since.
