Backstory:
Misty Reward was formed in the gritty heart of Austin, Texas in 2012. Founding members, lead vocalist Hayley Jameson, guitarist Jack Teller and drummer Luke McAdams, all shared a common love for music that speaks of raw emotion and personal triumph. After many late-night jam sessions in local smokey bars, the trio decided to take their passion a step further and formed Misty Reward. The name was inspired by the foggy mornings in Austin and their belief that the beauty of life often emerges from the mist of hardships. The band made their breakout in 2014 with their hit single “Shadows Dance”, which topped local and national charts.

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Wake up in the morning, [C] feeling the fire, [G] the warmth in the ashes, [D] the echoes of desire.
[G] We’re living on the edge, [C] on a razor’s blade, [G] dancing with the shadows, [D] in the masquerade.
(Chorus)
[G] Our hearts are blazing, [C] in the silent night.
[D] Cutting through the misty moonlight, [G] with all our might.
[C] We’re running with the demons, [G] chasing the sun.
[D] We won’t stop until the day is done. [G] Yeah, [C] until the day is done.
(Verse 2)
[G] We’re lost in the moment, [C] the thrill of the chase.
[G] The taste of victory, [D] it’s a wild embrace.
[G] We’re fighting the darkness, [C] breaking the mold.
[G] Our story is the one, [D] that’s never been told.
