Backstory:
‘Mixed Memory’ burst onto the music scene in 2014, created from the chaos of three different high school bands that couldn’t keep themselves together. Each of the four members—lead singer and guitarist Danny Walsh, bassist Rachel Arnold, drummer Alex Roth, and keyboardist Eliot Olsen—brought something unique from their previous bands, creating a fusion that gave birth to ‘Mixed Memory.’ The band’s journey began in the city of Brighton, UK, where they scraped together enough money to record their first demo tape. Success was slow to come, but after two years of playing small gigs at local pubs, their diverse sound began to resonate with the audience, leading to a record deal with indie label, “Half Note Records.”

Mixed Memory’s journey has been a roller coaster ride of relentless touring, late-night songwriting sessions, and a shared dream that fuels their passion. Their music paints a picture of their collective experiences, aptly reflected in their band name. They believe that each of their songs is a piece of a jigsaw puzzle, forming a collection of mixed memories that their fans can resonate with.
