Backstory:

Modern Ice started as a group of childhood friends in the small town of Frostbite, Alaska. Growing up in the cold and isolated town, the trio found solace in creating music. Lead vocalist and songwriter Mitchell O’Reilly, drummer Leonard Foster, and bassist/guitarist Jackson Murray spent their high school years cultivating their sound in Murray’s family barn. After graduation, they decided to turn their pastime into a career and moved to Seattle, a city known for its thriving music scene. They named their band ‘Modern Ice,’ an homage to their frosty hometown and the contemporary edge they brought to their sound.
