Backstory:

Monumental Tramp is a band that was formed in the heart of London, England. Their story spans three decades, with the band members originally meeting in a local pub where they would perform as separate solo acts. Barry Wiggins, the lead singer, and Davey Flint, the guitarist, had an instant connection over their shared love of music and storytelling. They soon teamed up with drummer Jimmy “Hammer” Thompson and bassist Lester “The Duke” Johnson, forming the band, Monumental Tramp, in the spring of 1990. Their camaraderie and shared passion for music have kept them together for over 30 years, creating a tight bond that is palpable in their performances.

Monumental Tramp spent their initial years performing in underground clubs, gaining a cult following for their raw, unfiltered sound. Their big break came in 1994 when their debut album gained attention from local radio stations. Since then, they’ve toured all across Europe, winning hearts with their unique brand of rock and roll and poignant lyrics.
