Backstory:
Mortified Explosion is a band born from the ashes of a small-town high school garage band in 2004. The four members – lead vocalist and guitarist Max “Crash” Carter, drummer Johnny “Boost” Bishop, bassist Larry “Fuse” Feldman, and keyboardist Timothy “Spark” Spence – once roamed the streets of their quiet New England town, feeding their dreams with the echoes of their musical heroes. Fueled by a shared love for punk rock and a burning desire to escape their ordinary lives, they threw themselves into their music, practicing until their fingers bled and their voices cracked. Mortified Explosion was more than just a band to them; it was their ticket to freedom.
In 2010, their chance came when they won a local Battle of the Bands and got noticed by a record executive who happened to be in the audience. The rest, as they say, is history. They’ve since released three albums, toured around the world, and gained a devoted fan base who identify with their raw, adrenaline-fueled sound and heartfelt lyrics.
