Backstory:
Mountainous Cobweb was formed in the snowy town of Aspen, Colorado, in 2014 by childhood friends Robert ‘Bob’ Mitchell and Jeremy ‘Jez’ McKinley, who found their musical calling in the echo of the mountains and the whisper of the wind. Bob, a self-taught guitarist, and Jez, who was trained on the piano from an early age, spent countless hours in their high-school years jamming together, drawing inspiration from the majestic Rockies, the intricate beauty of cobwebs glittering in the morning dew, and the deep, diverse sounds of nature around them. Their unique experiences and a shared passion for music found expression in Mountainous Cobweb, a band that seamlessly blends the raw power of rock with the subtle nuances of folk music.
