Backstory:
Murky Crook started as a garage band in a small town in Oregon. The band members, lead vocalist and guitarist Eli Kingstone, drummer Mike ‘Mallett’ McClellan, and bassist Graham ‘Grave’ Simmons, were all high school friends who shared a common passion for music and storytelling through their unique sound. They spent their days working regular jobs, but their nights were reserved for creating music and refining their skills. The name ‘Murky Crook’ was inspired by the winding, often foggy river that ran through their town, reflecting their dark yet enigmatic music style.
Despite being from a small town, their music resonated with a wide audience, and soon they found themselves touring the country, playing at major music festivals, and achieving a loyal fan base. Their journey was not devoid of hardships, but the strong bond between the band members and their shared love for their craft kept them going.
