Nervous Curve

Backstory:
Born and raised in the small town of Eureka, California, Nervous Curve is a four-piece band composed of childhood friends. Their lead vocalist, Danny Walker, guitarist Jake Burton, bassist Max Wallis, and drummer Alex Holden were schoolmates who discovered their shared passion for music during a high school talent show where they performed as a group for the first time. Post high school, they initially parted ways and pursued different paths. However, after a few years, they reunited and decided to form the band Nervous Curve, dedicated to their shared love for music.

Their journey hasn’t been easy. Like a nervous curve on the road, their path was filled with many ups and downs, unexpected turns, and stumbling blocks. They started by performing in small local venues and slowly built a reputation through word-of-mouth. Their big break came when their performance at a local music festival was noticed by an indie record label, which signed them for their first album.

Title:
“Echoes in the Rain”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C
Under the cold, rusty town light,
G D
We found each other in the midnight,
Em C
Laughter echoing in the rain,
G D
Whispering secrets, sharing our pain.

(Chorus)
Em C
Echoes in the rain, echoes in the rain,
G D
We were young, wild, and free, running against the grain,
Em C
Remember the promise we made under the storm,
G D
We said we’d be together, through the calm and the storm.

(Verse 2)
Em C
Years have passed, we’ve taken different roads,
G D
But the echoes in the rain, they still hold,
Em C
Every drop brings back the memory,
G D
Of the love we shared in our territory.

(Chorus)
Em C
Echoes in the rain, echoes in the rain,
G D
We may be apart, but the memories still sustain,
Em C
In every rainfall, in every single drop,
G D
The love we had, it just won’t stop.

Fan Testimonial:
Their biggest fan is a woman named Laura Mitchell. She stumbled upon one of their performances at a local bar in Eureka. As she says, “Nervous Curve isn’t just a band, they are a group of storytellers. Their music is raw, passionate, and deeply resonant. I’ve been to every one of their local performances, own all their merch, and even travel to see them on tour. There’s something incredibly intimate and relatable in their songs that makes you feel like they’re telling your own story. They are hands down my favorite band, and I can’t wait to see where their journey takes them”.
