Nice Whole

Backstory:

Nice Whole was formed in 2005 by a group of five college mates from a small town in Wyoming who shared an affinity for rhythm and harmony. The lead singer, Danny Riddick, was known for his soulful voice and freestyle chord progressions. He paired up with the melodious pianist, Jenny Thompson, ever extraordinary, on the guitar, was James Ryan, and the rhythm-keeping duo of bassist Sam Winfield and drummer Alex Turner. What started as jamming sessions in the college dorm common room soon took a professional turn when they won their first battle of the bands competition.

After graduation, Nice Whole moved to Los Angeles. Their music reached new audiences, and their fan base grew. They signed their first record deal in 2010 and have since released three albums, each carving out a unique place for them in the music world. Despite the spotlight, they’ve kept their humility and connection with their audience. Their authenticity, combined with raw talent, has made Nice Whole a beloved band for many.

I remember the bright summer days,

The echoes of yesterday,

We were young, we were free,

Living life wild and carefree.

Those echoes of yesterday,
G D
In our hearts, they’ll forever stay.

The nights under the starry skies,

The laughter, the tears in our eyes.

The echoes of yesterday,

A symphony of lows and highs.

We were bold, we were true,

Chasing dreams, out of the blue.
