Backstory:

Only Cord is a group of five best friends from Oakland, California. They embarked on their musical journey during their high school days in 2009. Originally starting as an amateur cover band, they soon found themselves writing original music. The band’s name was inspired by the countless hours they spent practicing in their parents’ garages, with only a cord connecting them to their dreams. Their shared passion for music and their tight-knit bond fueled their desire to create captivating melodies and profound lyrics, ultimately laying the groundwork for Only Cord. After years of hard work and dedication, they finally got their breakout in 2013 when their demo tape was picked up by a local radio station.
