Outrageous Transformation

Backstory:

Outrageous Transformation was formed in the heart of Nashville in 2012 by lead vocalist and guitarist, Rex Jenkins, bassist Mike Stanley, and drummer Oliver Hahn. All three members were previously part of different country bands, and wanted to create something unique by fusing their country roots with rock and roll. They met at a local jam session, and realizing their shared vision, decided to form their own band. Living true to their name, they have constantly evolved their music, pushing boundaries and always aiming to surprise their audience with every new release.

Song Title:

“Riding on a Whiskey Dream”

Song Lyrics:

Verse 1 (G-D-Am-C)
I’m just a cowboy, riding on a whiskey dream (G-D)
Past the stars, past the city lights, past everything it seems (Am-C)
My guitar strapped to my back, my heart strapped to her sleeve (G-D)
I’m just a cowboy, riding on a whiskey dream (Am-C)

Chorus (G-D-C)
Riding on a whiskey dream, chasin’ down the moonbeam (G-D)
Lost in love, lost in song, somewhere in between (C)
I’m a rebel, I’m a fool, but baby I’m your cowboy (G-D)
Riding on a whiskey dream, just tryin’ to make some noise (C)

Verse 2 (G-D-Am-C)
These city lights, they’re way too bright, bring me back the stars (G-D)
Take me back to where the music’s real, and the dreams ain’t behind bars (Am-C)
Back to where the whiskey flows, in the heart of a country man (G-D)
I’m just a cowboy, riding on a whiskey dream (Am-C)

Chorus (G-D-C)
Riding on a whiskey dream, chasin’ down the moonbeam (G-D)
Lost in love, lost in song, somewhere in between (C)
I’m a rebel, I’m a fool, but baby I’m your cowboy (G-D)
Riding on a whiskey dream, just tryin’ to make some noise (C)
