Perky Quartz formed amidst the psychedelic haze of a late-night jam session at an underground rock club in San Francisco. The band members, previously part of different indie groups, found that their shared love for vintage rock and roll and passion for creating something new was enough to form a bond beyond friendship. They named their band Perky Quartz as a nod to both their vibrant and sparkling personality and the toughness that comes with forming a new genre of music. The band’s music reflects their journey, full of ups and downs, and an unwavering spirit that has carried them through the most challenging times.
