Backstory:
Pitiful No was formed in the heart of New York in 2012. The initial members were childhood friends: lead vocalist and guitarist, Jonny “Blaze” Harwood and drummer, Ricky “Twitch” Summers. The band was born in a dingy basement following a series of failed musical projects. Inspired by their shared disillusionment and disenchantment with the industry, they decided to give music one last shot, starting a band that would reflect their raw, unfiltered emotions. Adding bassist, Mia “Pulse” Sanchez, and keyboardist, Felix “Shade” Thornton, the band started gaining momentum locally. The band name, ‘Pitiful No’, is an ironic play on their determination and refusal to give up.
