Backstory:
Perky Robin originated from the small town of Valdosta, Georgia. The band is comprised of childhood friends, Jane “Jay” Banks on lead guitar and vocals, Mike “Riff” Sanchez on bass guitar and vocals, and Caleb “Beats” Matthews on drums. They formed in high school, where they initially met in music class. Their bond was solidified over their shared love for music and the desire to bring joy and enthusiasm to every performance. “Perky Robin” was born out of a joke, mimicking the daily wake-up call of a particularly lively robin outside their rehearsal space.
