Backstory:
Potable Instinct, founded in 2013, was born in the rainy city of Seattle, Washington. Its founders, lead vocalist and guitarist Patrick O’Neil and drummer Sarah James, were childhood friends who discovered their collective passion for music in their high school band. After four years of playing in local clubs, they recruited talented bassist, Charlie Thompson, in a downtown street music festival. Together, they combined their distinct musical tastes and skills to create a unique sound that would define Potable Instinct.

The band gained momentum after winning a local battle of the bands competition and began touring across the Pacific Northwest. Their breakout performance at the Everett Music Festival caught the attention of renowned record producer, Dale Parker, who signed them to his label, Soundwave Records. With Parker’s guidance, Potable Instinct released their debut album “Taste of Rain” in 2016. Since then, they have been a powerhouse in the indie music scene, steadily gaining a dedicated fan base drawn to their emotional lyrics and versatile sound.
