“The Poet’s Dream”
Lyrics:
(verse)
D A G
In a town where the sun sets low,
D A G
Lives a poet with a heartache to show.
D A G
He pens his dreams, under the dim night’s gleam,
D A G
Waiting for the day, his soul to redeem.
(chorus)
A D G
Oh, the poet’s dream, A lonesome beam,
A D G
In a world that’s not what it seems.
A D G
He seeks the truth, in his own rhyme,

Hoping to heal, with the passage of time.
