Backstory:
Pristine Shock is an extraordinary blend of four talented musicians who hail from different corners of the globe. The band was formed in 2010 when lead vocalist, Derek “Dex” Wilson, stumbled upon drummer, Alex “Shadow” Davis, during a jam session at a common friend’s party in Melbourne. The duo instantly clicked due to their shared passion for music and decided to form a band. They were soon joined by guitarist, Chris “Strings” Johnson from London and bassist, Nick “Groove” Russell from New York. The amalgamation of their diverse cultures and musical influences resulted in a unique sound that quickly gained them popularity.
The band’s journey wasn’t easy; facing numerous challenges and obstacles, such as finding a recording studio that would take a chance on their unique style and battling personal issues. However, the immense love and support from their growing fanbase helped them persevere, ultimately landing them a record deal in 2013. Since then, Pristine Shock has released three studio albums, gaining a robust international following and securing their spot as an iconic name in the music industry.
