Questionable Acceptance

Backstory:

Questionable Acceptance was formed in the early 2000s in the bustling heart of Chicago. The band’s founding members, childhood friends Derek ‘Dez’ Morrison (vocals/guitar) and Michael ‘Micky’ Carlson (drums), were inspired by their mutual love of 90s grunge and pop punk music. They later completed the band with Jenny ‘Jet’ Braithwaite (bass), a longtime friend and fellow music enthusiast who brought a much-needed feminine touch to the band’s energy. Questionable Acceptance has faced many ups and downs throughout their career, including lineup changes and struggles with the evolving music industry. Despite this, the band remains as passionate and dedicated to their music as ever.

“Unraveled Threads”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[D] She wears her [G] pain like a [A] badge of honor,
[D] Hides her tears in the [G] pale moonlight, [A]
[D] But when the [G] shadows start to [A] gather,
[D] It’s clear her [G] world’s not black and [A] white.

(Chorus)
[G] Unraveled threads in [D] her heart,
[A] Tears her world [G] apart.
[G] Weaving stories [D] of love and loss,
[A] She pays the [G] ultimate cost.

(Verse 2)
[D] She’s got the [G] spirit of a [A] warrior,
[D] Fighting battles [G] unseen by the [A] naked eye.
[D] In her heart, she’s [G] an unbroken [A] soldier,
[D] But in her eyes, [G] you can see the [A] battle cry.

(Chorus)
[G] Unraveled threads in [D] her soul,
[A] The war takes its [G] toll.
[G] She’s a fighter, [D] she never bends,
[A] But oh, how she [G] longs for the end.
