Rusty Meal

Backstory:

Born in the heart of the industrial town of Sheffield, England, Rusty Meal is a duo that knows a thing or two about metal, both literally and musically. Founding members, Liam Fletcher and Oliver Burton, first met at a steel mill where they both worked long, grueling shifts. Their similar taste in music and shared the dream of escaping their monotonous life brought them together. After long days at the mill, they would gather in Liam’s garage, surrounded by rusted metal scraps, creating an ambiance that would eventually inspire their band name.

The duo started out doing local gigs, their unique sound quickly gaining popularity in the local scene. Their popularity skyrocketed when they were discovered by a record producer attending one of their performances in a small pub. Since then, Rusty Meal has transcended their humble beginnings, becoming a sensation that speaks to the spirit of the working class and the dreamer in everyone.

“Steel-Hearted Rhythm”

Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em B7
Down in the mill, where the steel meets the fire,
C G
We forge dreams, under the smoky pyre.
Em B7
In the heartbeat of hammers, in the rhythm of rails,
C G
We’re the Rusty Meal, telling our tales.

(Chorus)
Em B7
Steel-hearted rhythm, our metallic song,
C G
In the forge of dreams, where we belong.
Em B7
Dancing on the anvil, under the neon light,
C G
We’re the Rusty Meal, blazing through the night.

(Verse 2)
Em B7
From the iron-bound city, to the open road,
C G
We carry the weight, we bear the load.
Em B7
In the whispers of rust, in the shout of steel,
C G
We’re the Rusty Meal, and this is how we feel.

(Repeat Chorus)
