Backstory:

Same Ref was born in the heart of Miami, Florida, in the late summer of 2014. The band members – Daniel “Danny” Gallagher on vocals and guitar, Eddie “Enigma” Sanchez on drums, and Julian “Juju” Mendoza on bass – were all childhood friends who grew up on the same block, sharing their love for music. After countless garage jam sessions and late-night songwriting sprees, they decided to take their passion to the next level and formed Same Ref. Drawing inspiration from their shared experiences and the vibrant city that raised them, Same Ref quickly gained local recognition for their distinctive sound and relatable lyrics.
