Sardonic Distribution

Backstory:
Sardonic Distribution was birthed in the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas in 2015. The trio, comprised of childhood friends – lead guitarist and vocalist, Jake “Sardonic” Sardini, bassist, Max “Distribute” Distrib, and drummer, Danny “Beats” Beatson, spent their formative years indulging in a shared love of punk rock and blues. After countless jamming sessions in Jake’s garage, they decided to give their group an official name, thus Sardonic Distribution was born, with a mission to distribute their sardonic humor and sharp societal commentary through their music.

Their debut album, “Ironic Downpour,” catapulted them into the indie music scene, giving them a massive fan base who appreciated their unique fusion of punk rock and blues with biting lyrics. They soon found themselves performing at renowned music festivals and touring nationally. Their music resonated with the disillusioned youth and those craving for a fresh and raw perspective on the society we live in today.

Title:
“Cynical Melody”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse)
E D A E
Feeling like a misfit in this plastic parade,
E D A E
Chasing hollow dreams till the colors fade.
E D A E
They sell us sweet lies, but we taste the charade,
E D A E
In this cynical melody, we serenade.

(Chorus)
A E D A
Oh, the dance of the disillusioned, under the streetlight’s glow,
A E D A
To the beat of the heartbroken, where the lonely winds blow.
A E D A
We sing our cynical melody, in whispers and screams,
A E D A
In this symphony of chaos, we bury our dreams.

(Verse)
E D A E
In the heart of the city, where the shadows play,
E D A E
We wear our scars like badges, in the light of day.
E D A E
They promise us paradise, but deliver decay,
E D A E
Singing this cynical melody, we find our way.

(Chorus)
A E D A
Oh, the dance of the disillusioned, in the cold night air,
A E D A
To the rhythm of the lost souls, who’ve learned life ain’t fair.
A E D A
We sing our cynical melody, till our voices break,
A E D A
In this orchestra of anarchy, we stay awake.

Favorite Fan:
Their most adored fan is Sarah “Sari” Thompson. Sarah, a college student studying sociology, sees Sardonic Distribution as much more than a band. To her, they represent a voice for the youth that is often overlooked in society. In a testimonial, Sarah shares, “Their music transcends the usual clichés of rebellion. It’s not just about being a rebel without a cause. It’s about understanding the paradox of our existence, about making sense of the absurdities. Sardonic Distribution is my favorite band because they effortlessly blend the rawness of punk and the depth of blues in their songs. Their lyrics are thought-provoking and relatable, making you feel seen and understood…and that’s a rare thing.”
