Backstory:
Sentimental Anxiety is a band that came together in the heartland of America, in a small town in the state of Iowa. The four members – lead vocalist Michael Decker, guitarist Aiden Jones, bassist Ethan Black, and drummer Isaac Hill – were high school best friends with a shared passion for music. They bonded over their love for raw emotion in melodies and lyricism, often using music as an outlet to explore their own feelings of love, loss, and longing. In their senior year, they decided to form their own band, naming it Sentimental Anxiety as an ode to their mutual understanding of the complexities of human emotions.
After graduation, the band started performing at local bars and coffee shops, quickly gaining a dedicated fan base which resonated with their soul-touching music. Their big break came when a talent scout from a record label attended one of their shows and offered them a contract. Today, Sentimental Anxiety is known for their deeply emotional and relatable music that speaks directly to the hearts of their listeners.
