Backstory:

Smart Disposal is an indie rock band formed in the bustling city of Chicago, Illinois, in 2012. The four-piece group consists of high school friends, lead vocalist and guitarist Martin Romero, bassist Henry Banks, drummer Luke Sanderson, and synth player Sammie Davis. They all shared a mutual love for rock, punk, alternative, and electronic music and decided to form a band after graduating high school. Inspired by their day jobs as waste management professionals, they chose the unusual yet catchy name ‘Smart Disposal’.

The quartet spent their early years crafting and refining their sound, performing in local bars, clubs, and music festivals. Word quickly spread about their eclectic music style, compelling lyrics, and energetic performances. Their breakthrough came in 2015 when they were spotted by a talent scout at a local music festival. Since then, Smart Disposal has released two albums and has built a loyal fanbase across the country.
