Backstory:
Shiny Development, born in the heart of New York City, began their music journey in 2015 when four talented friends, Alex (guitarist), George (drummer), Lilly (vocalist), and Mike (keyboardist), decided to share their love for music with the world. Alex was a computer engineer, George was a bookstore owner, Lilly was a graphic designer, and Mike was a school teacher. Despite their diverse backgrounds, their shared passion for music brought them together. They converted George’s bookstore basement into a practice studio and began to experiment with different sounds and melodies, ultimately creating a unique blend of their own. ‘Shiny Development’ is a nod to their progressive growth as a band and the shiny optimism that drives their music.

Title:
“Electric Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Am
Under the city lights, we found a tune,
F
With colors of neon, and a silver moon,
C
We strummed our hearts, till the break of dawn,
G
In the rhythm of the city, an anthem was born.

Chorus:
Dm
Electric dreams in a concrete sea,
G
We are Shiny Development, wild and free,
Am
With every strum, and every beat,
E
We’re making a rhythm, where hearts meet.

Verse 2:
Am
In the whispers of the wind, in the city noise,
F
We found our music, we found our voice,
C
In every corner, in every street,
G
We found a story, every melody a feat.

Chorus:
Dm
Electric dreams in a sleepless town,
G
We’re stirring up magic, with a silent sound,
Am
We are the dreamers, in the city’s heart,
E
With Shiny Development, a new day starts.
