Smoggy Decade was born during the late 1990’s in the smog filled, industrial city of Sheffield, UK. The band was formed by childhood friends, lead singer and guitarist Billy “Smog” Smith, bassist Johnny “Decade” Jones, and drummer Ricky “Rhythm” Reed. Their shared love for music guided them through the foggy streets of their hometown, forming the very essence of their band. The hardship of the working-class lifestyle in Sheffield and their dreams of breaking free from it influenced the soulful, gritty tunes they produced.
