Spanish Estimate

Backstory:
Spanish Estimate was formed in the historic city of Barcelona, Spain in the summer of 2014. The band consists of childhood friends Gabriel Álvarez (lead vocals), Francisco Morales (guitar), and brothers Diego and Javier Castro (bass and drums, respectively). The band was born in a garage, where they used to jam after school, and slowly began to carve a niche for themselves in the local music scene. Their deep-rooted love for their city and its history is reflected in their music, making them a crowd favorite at local festivals. After winning a local band competition, they caught the attention of a small record label, which helped them take their music to a wider audience.

Genre:
Spanish Estimate is known for their Indie Rock music with a hint of Latin influences. They combine powerful guitar licks with infectious drum beats, and soulful, poetic Spanish lyrics.

C Am F G

“I’ve been a fan of Spanish Estimate from day one. Their music is not just tunes and rhythms, but it’s also a reflection of our culture, our city, our lives. It’s like they’re telling my story in their songs. I connect with their music on a personal level and that’s why they’re my favorite band. I’ve seen them grow from performing in local bars to big music festivals, and I couldn’t be prouder. They have stayed true to their roots and that’s something I immensely respect.”
