Title:

“Lightning in a Bottle”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
C G Am F
I found a dream caught in the rain,
C G Am F
In the middle of a storm, lost in pain,
C G Am F
An echo of a laugh, a distant refrain,
C G Am F
I’m chasing the specter of love again.

(Chorus)
C G Am F
Lightning in a bottle and an endless sea,
C G Am F
I’ve got a pocket of hope, will you sail with me?
C G Am F
We’ll ride the waves of this wild, wild melody,
C G Am F
Through fear and faith, it’s you and me.

(Verse 2)
C G Am F
Under the sky, by the shining moon,
C G Am F
We weave our story, a lullaby tune,
C G Am F
In the silence of the night, in the warm afternoon,
C G Am F
With every heartbeat, to you, I swoon.

(Chorus)
C G Am F
Lightning in a bottle and the open sea,
C G Am F
Two hearts entwined, as wild and free,
C G Am F
In the rhythm of love, we find our destiny,
C G Am F
Through highs and lows, it’s you and me.

Favorite Fan:

The band’s favorite fan is Anna Thompson, a teacher from New York. Anna says, “I first discovered Spotted Essay at a concert in Central Park and was instantly hooked. Their lyrics are poetic and profound, their melodies soulful. They have a unique way of telling stories and expressing emotions through their music. It’s not just about the rhythm or the melody, but the depth of meaning in their songs. To me, their music feels like a comforting friend, always there to give you strength when you are low and to celebrate your joy when you are happy. It’s not just a favorite band for me, it’s a part of my life.”
