Backstory:

Suburban Obligation was formed in 2017 in the quiet town of Ridgeway, Connecticut. The band came together in the cushy basement of lead singer, Carson Blake, originally as a means to escape from the humdrum of their daily lives. Comprising Carson, lead guitarist Ethan Owens, rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist Mia Rhodes, bassist Liam Mitchell, and drummer Stella Harper, the group found solace in creating music, blending their varied musical influences to form a unique, yet resonant sound. Their music, highlighting the often-overlooked complexities of suburban life, quickly struck a chord with their audience, propelling them from basement jam sessions to more significant platforms.
